A DRESS FOR EACH BRIDE BY MAGGIE SOTTERO IN VALMONT BARCELONA BRIDAL FASHION WEEK 2019
I have attended Valmont Barcelona Bridal Week this year and it was amazing. I have seen more wedding dresses that in my entire life, they had more than 22 000 gowns and 35 fashion shows. There were wedding dresses for each bride in the world and it was a dream.
There are brands that made their fashion show an actual show, decorating and adapting the runway to their concept and their new collection; but there was one fashion show that took my heart. They made me feel more than excitement and admiration for being witnessing all these brands and what they have to offer to my brides, they made me feel joy, hope and happiness.
To stand up and keep my attention they needed gorgeous dresses, smiling models and Liris Crosse. With her attitude in her catwalks she told us “Girl, Maggie Sottero have you covered”, or at least that is what I perceived.
There are different kind of bodies out there. More curves, less curves, tall figures and petite gals and I love a brand that can see that.
As she said “plus means more”, more of her and more of us.
